A meeting of the Director of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature was held at Lorestan University with the President and a group of faculty members of the Faculty of Basic Sciences.

The fourth meeting of the Director of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature with the faculties, this time with the presence of the President and a group of faculty members of the Faculty of Basic Sciences of Lorestan University, was held.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this meeting, which was held on Monday, May 4th of this year in the office of Dr. Amirghasem Ghazanfari-Motlagh, President of the Faculty of Basic Sciences of Lorestan University, Dr. Ali Nouri, Director of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature at Lorestan University, provided explanations about the duties, responsibilities, and programs of the Academy for the preservation of the Persian language, and then provided the approved scientific terms of the Academy, which have been published in the form of books known as "Thousand Words", to the managers and professors of the Faculty of Basic Sciences.
The attendees at the meeting exchanged views on the specifics of the Persian equivalents of Greek, Latin, and English terms.
Ultimately, it was approved that the faculty members of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, while reviewing the electronic version of the books, should encourage colleagues and students to make greater use of the considered and refined equivalents of the Academy, and also reflect their proposed revisions to the Office of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature at Lorestan University, to be presented to the word selection groups of the Academy.
