The Lorestan Waterfall Studies Working Group was established.

Dr. Ali Nouri, Director of the Lorestan University Waterfall Studies Center, announced: "Considering the significant tourism capacity of waterfalls in Lorestan province, a joint inter-sectoral working group in this field has been established at the Bisheh Village Waterfall Studies Center."

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, Dr. Nouri elaborated in an interview with our correspondent: "The Lorestan University Waterfall Studies Center is among the scientific centers that have implemented various programs to promote tourism in waterfalls, with an emphasis on the Bisheh village waterfall."

Dr. Nouri stated: "Considering the presence of numerous waterfalls with diverse geomorphological structures and hydrological characteristics in Lorestan, and the necessity of studying Lorestan's waterfalls, especially the Bisheh waterfall, a working group consisting of the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University, the Faculty of Natural Resources of this university, the Geological Survey Organization, and the Cultural Heritage Organization of Lorestan province has been formed."

The Director of the Lorestan University Waterfall Studies Center added: "In this working group, the membership of the Lorestan Geological Survey Organization in the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University was approved."

Dr. Ali Nouri clarified: "The aim of such actions is to further strengthen scientific, cultural, and social tourism so that, with scientific and operational approaches, the tourism potentials of Lorestan province in the field of waterfall studies can be introduced."
