A seminar on the study of Lorestan mythology was held at Lorestan University.

In line with the implementation of a series of specialized and scientific seminars of the Fourth National Festival of Iranian Ethnic Groups, a specialized seminar on the study of Lorestan myths was held at Lorestan University, with a lecture by Dr. Sahamoddin Khazaei.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this seminar was held with the presence of a group of students on Sunday, May 6th of this year in the Shahid Mirbaharsi Hall of Lorestan University.
Dr. Noushafarin Kalantar as the judge of this seminar and Dr. Ali Nouri as the supervisor of the seminar also presented their views.
Dr. Khazaei explained the difference between myth and legend. He considered myth to be enduring and emphasized the necessity of conducting applied research in this field in Lorestan province.
For example, Hur or Mur are among the myths that have centuries of antiquity and exist today in Lorestan.
Dr. Ali Nouri explained the scientific and research capacities of mythology in Lorestan province.
Dr. Nouri emphasized the need for more young people to become familiar with Iranian national and indigenous myths.
Dr. Noushafarin Kalantar explained some of the rural myths of Iran in this meeting.
She explained that the Iranian Mehr ritual has influenced the European Mithraism ritual.
