Introduction to the Lorestan Studies Center:
The Lorestan Studies Center is an educational and research institution under the management of the University of Lorestan, with the general aim of expanding research and education in areas related to the life-world of Lorestan province. Following the efforts and follow-ups of the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Management of the University in 2010 and 2011, and the approval of the Center's charter by the University's Board of Trustees, the center's work remained stagnant due to various reasons and factors. However, the foundation of this institution, in the form of an active study center, was laid in 2022, and the Lorestan Studies Center officially began its work as a research-educational center. This research center operates under the following sub-categories, based on the Board of Trustees' approval. Furthermore, the long-term goals of the research center include employing faculty members and admitting students in master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral programs to conduct research projects.
