Emphasis by the President of Lorestan University on Expanding Research Infrastructure During Visit to the Central Library

In order to assess the qualitative development of research and cultural infrastructure at Lorestan University, on Wednesday, November 7, 1404, Dr. Mehrdad Dadestani, President, and Dr. Hossein Hatami, Vice President for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, visited various sections of the central library building and the research units located there.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, during this visit, the President and Vice President for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, by visiting various sections of the central library, including the book repository, the reference section, cataloging, reading rooms, and the conference hall, while conversing with the staff and officials of each section, evaluated the current status of service provision and development plans of the library.

Furthermore, the research and technology collections located in the central library building, including the Zoology Museum, the APA Center, and the new location allocated to the Lorestan Studies Center, were also visited.

During these visits, reports on the status of activities, research programs, and future plans of each unit were presented by the relevant managers.

The President of Lorestan University, during this visit, while appreciating the efforts of the managers and staff of the Vice President for Research and Technology, emphasized the importance of strengthening research infrastructure along with cultural services, and considered the qualitative expansion of the central library as one of the important axes in relation to supporting researchers and students.

The management of the central library of Lorestan University is under the responsibility of Ms. Engineer Nahid Sharafi, who presented a report on the status of resources, digitization projects, and future plans of the library during this visit.

The director of the Zoology Museum is Dr. Ali Gholamifard, the director of the Lorestan Studies Center of the University is Dr. Ali Nouri, and the head of the APA Center of the University is Dr. Mojtaba Alizadeh.
