The closing ceremony of the third biennial National Golden Criticism Award will be held at Lorestan University.

The closing ceremony of the third National Biennial Zarrin Criticism Award will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2025, at Lorestan University.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the name of this national award is in memory of Professor Dr. Abdolhossein Zarrinkoub, who was born in Borujerd in 1922 and passed away in 1999.

The first and second National Zarrin Criticism Awards were held in 2020 and 2022, respectively.

The Iranian Scientific Association of Literary Criticism and the Iranian Book and Literature House Institute are the organizers, and Tarbiat Modares University, Lorestan University, Imam Khomeini International University of Qazvin, Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University, and the Persian Language and Literature Research Center of Tarbiat Modares University are among the supporters of this award.

The director of the Lorestan Studies Center, Dr. Ali Nouri, is a faculty member of the Persian Language and Literature Department of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities at Lorestan University, with the academic rank of "Professor."

In this regard, the Iranian Scientific Association of Literary Criticism announced the names of the authors and articles nominated for the third National Biennial Zarrin Criticism Award, the closing ceremony of which will be hosted by Lorestan University, in alphabetical order:

1- Milad Jafarpour, for the article "From the Fictional Orphan to the Historical Qurchi (Re-identification of the Identity of Hossein Kord Shabestari based on historical and literary sources)."

2- Razieh Hojjatizadeh, for the article "Methodology of Systematic Formalism, a Pioneering Method in the History of Modern Literature."

3- Mahmoud Fotouhi Rudmaajani, for the article "Epistemological Classification of Mystical Propositions."

4- Mostafa Gorji, for the article "Kohl of Thought: Examining the Image of 'Life as a Free Will Illusion' in the Views of Rumi and Spinoza."

5- Alireza Mohammadi Kalehsar, for the articles "Formal Analysis of the Language of Mysticism; Types, Criticisms, Suggestions" and "The Poverty of Theoretical Foundations in the Trends of Persian Language and Literature."

Among the six aforementioned articles with five authors, three researchers will receive the first to third prizes, including a statue, a certificate of appreciation, and a cash prize at the closing ceremony.

It is worth mentioning that in the first step, 17 professors from universities across Iran reviewed 49 literary journals and nearly three thousand articles published in 2022-2023, along with 40 articles submitted to the conference secretariat, and ultimately deemed 29 articles worthy of evaluation in the second stage.

In the second stage, Alireza Nikouei, Issa Amnkhani, and Rahman Moshtaghmehr judged the articles based on the criteria announced by the Iranian Scientific Association of Literary Criticism and selected six articles (five authors) for the third stage.

At the closing ceremony hosted by Lorestan University, three articles out of the six articles that reached the final stage will be introduced, and the authors will receive the National Zarrin Criticism Award.
