A meeting to expand cooperation between the Lorestan Studies Center of the University of Lorestan and the Iranian Studies Foundation, Lorestan Branch, was held.

A meeting on expanding scientific and research cooperation between Lorestan University, centered on the university's Lorestan Studies Center and the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch, was held.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, in this meeting, which was held on Sunday, November 18th of the current year, in the university's presidency, Mojtaba Roumiani, the head of the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch, initially thanked Dr. Ali Nazari, the head of the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University, for his participation and cooperation in preparing various programs of the Foundation.

Roumiani requested that joint meetings between the Foundation and Lorestan University be held.

He called for utilizing the capacity of theses and dissertations of postgraduate degrees on Lorestan Studies topics.

The head of the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch, in another part of his remarks, requested that a space {room} be created at Lorestan University for the joint activities of the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University and the Iranology Foundation.

Dr. Ali Nazari, the president of Lorestan University, in this meeting, in the introduction of his speech, spoke about the importance of understanding the history, civilization, culture, and art of Lorestan.

He then pointed out that Lorestan University has many elite capacities and that the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch, should utilize these capacities.

The president of Lorestan University emphasized strengthening the activities of the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University.

He requested that the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch, in cooperation and participation with the university's Lorestan Studies Center, hold conferences and credible scientific and discussion-based meetings hosted by Lorestan University.

He asked the head of the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University (Dr. Ali Nouri) that the joint programs of the center and the foundation be documented in the form of films, books, and booklets so that these achievements and actions are also transferred to future generations.

Dr. Ali Nazari, in part of his speech, pointed out that unfortunately, in the field of reporting {documentation in the form of books, films, etc.}, there is a weakness in many capacities and capabilities, such as the capabilities of the people of Lorestan province during the Sacred Defense, which is the mission of the Iranology Foundation, with the help of the university, to compensate for these weaknesses in the province.

He stated that Lorestan University, with the Lorestan Studies Center of the university as its focus, will expand its applied cooperation with the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch.

The president of Lorestan University asked the head of the Iranology Foundation, Lorestan Branch, to implement joint programs with the university's Lorestan Studies Center during Research and Technology Week to further introduce the capacities of Lorestan province.

In this meeting, Dr. Ali Nouri, the head of the Lorestan Studies Center of Lorestan University, presented a report on the joint activities carried out with the Iranology Foundation.

Dr. Saeed Mohammadzadeh, the university's Vice President for Support, also expressed his suggestions for expanding bilateral cooperation.
